Conversations with a 3-year-old that’s smarter than she should be.

Me:  You know you’re not sup­pose to act like that. Can you tell me why you did this?

Peanut (as she sat in my lap and looked me straight in the eye): Nana, I think I’m really done with this conversation.

It was all I could do to keep from busting out laughing. I wonder just where she’s heard this phrase before?  :-)

And, one can only take so much Micky Mouse Playhouse, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Charlie and Lola, and Little Einsteins. So, the other morning while watching the ever-intellectual Scoobie-Doo on Zombie Island, Peanut crawled in my lap, pointed her first finger at the tele­vi­sion and said,

Nana, hate is a very strong word…but I hate zombies.

Yes, Peanut, I agree.
